1. Catch Us in Port Dover - Canada Day Parade Float (July 1st)

We’re hitting the road with our Canada Day Parade Float in Port Dover! Come cheer us on as we roll through downtown with eco-adventure flair. The parade kicks off at 11 am, so grab your red and white and celebrate with us!

2. AstroFest by InterStela - July 14 - 16

We’re teaming up with InterStela for AstroFest, a 3-day astronomy celebration right here at Long Point Eco-Adventures, and it’s FREE to attend!

🪐 Festival highlights include:

  • Guided night sky tours and constellation storytelling

  • Beginner-friendly astrophotography workshops

  • Speaker sessions and astronomy demos

  • Swag bags for the first 50 guests

  • Your chance to win one of two smart telescopes!

Book a stay in one of our glamping suites or wilderness pods and spend all three days immersed in dark skies, nature, and cosmic discovery. To take part in the Opening Ceremony on July 14, you’ll need to purchase a ticket to the Dark Skies Dinner, a delicious buffet-style taco bar that kicks off the festival in style. It’s your official pass to the first night’s exclusive festivities!

3. Paddle Through Baby Wildlife Season

Our Big Creek Kayak Tour, often called the Canadian Amazon, is in peak baby animal season, and the creek is teeming with new life. It’s not uncommon to spot hatchling turtles sunning themselves on logs, ducklings darting across the water, baby beavers near the shore, and even fawns tucked quietly beneath the canopy.

This 4-hour guided paddle takes you deep into the heart of Ontario’s Carolinian forest, one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the country. Glide beneath towering Sycamores and Black Walnuts, wrapped in wild grape and Virginia creeper vines. Keep your eyes peeled, Bald Eagles, Mink, and White-tailed Deer are known to make surprise appearances along the way.

It’s a relaxing yet immersive adventure, perfect for first-time paddlers and seasoned explorers alike. About halfway through, you’ll stop for a peaceful picnic break at the water’s edge, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Mornings are best for wildlife sightings, so don’t forget your camera, and book your paddle soon. Baby animals don’t stay small for long!
